Mar 24, 2009 (newstodate): First carrier to ply the skies between Moldova and Ireland will be Air Moldova.
The carrier plans to launch a new regular scheduled route between Chisinau and Dublin from April 14, 2009, using Airbus A320 aircraft on the route.
The new route follows closely on another new addition to Air Moldova's route network from March 29 when the first flight by the carrier between Chisinau and Milan, Italy, will be launched.
The new flights are facilitated by the delivery, on March 9 , 2009, of the company's third Airbus A320 aircraft, operated on a lease arrangement.
Air Moldova now provides out flights to 16 destinations including Frankfurt, Vienna, Bucharest, Istanbul, Lisbon, Madrid, London, Athens, Larnaka, Rome, Milan, Verona, Paris, Prague, Moscow, and St Petersburg.
