Mar 05, 2009 (newstodate): Cargo volumes through Estonia's Tallinn Airport are now down to low levels after the fall-out of ex-China transfer cargo to Russia.
In February the airport handled a total of 1,813 tonnes of cargo, down 42.5 percent, y-o-y.
Total volumes comprise 72.3 tonnes of export cargo, down 30.1 percent, 1,669 tonnes of import cargo, down 43.8 percent, 32 tonnes of export mail, down 14.5 percent, and 40 tonnes of import mail, down 7.2 percent.
Volumes in January-February 2009 are 3,600 tonnes cargo and mail, down 34 percent, y-o-y.
