Ryanair has announced its decision to launch two weekly flights between Billund and Alghero from June 3, 2009.
This follows on the heels of Ryanair's announcement of doubling the frequency to four weekly rotations on flights between Billund and Alicante, Spain, also from June 3, 2009.
Ryanair is building up a route network at Billund Airport, now offering flights to nine European destinations.
The carrier is expanding its services at Billund Airport to fill the void after the demise of Sterling, and expects to lift almost half a million passengers from the airport in 2009.
