Mar 13, 2009 (newstodate): All three Scandinavian countries will soon be capable of offering a full palette of e-freight solutions.
As the last element to fall into place, a solution has now been found to open Denmark for e-freight export from Copenhagen and Billund.
After months of intensive negotiations with SLV to remove the last remaining snags, March 16, 2009, has now been set as the release date for e-freight export from the Danish airfreight market, in addition to import and transfer cargo that are already fully e-freight implemented.
In Norway, seven locations, including Oslo Gardermoen, are open for e-freight including imports, exports, and transfer cargo shipments.
In Sweden, Stockholm Arlanda, Gothenburg Landvetter and Malmo Sturup are open for import, export and transfer e-freight shipments.
