Mar 06, 2009 (newstodate): The virgin flight of Boeing's Dreamliner will reportedly be slightly delayed - again.
Originally slated for end of 2007 and last re-scheduled for April, 2009, the flight will now probably not take place until late June, 2009, sources say.
The commercially succesful program has also run into the negative effects from the current world economic crisis as Delta Airlines has said it wants to convert firm orders earlier placed by Northwest for 18 Boeing 787 aircraft into options.
At first scheduled to enter service in May 2008, production has been repeatedly delayed and the aircraft is now scheduled to enter into service with the Japanese carrier ANA by Q1, 2010.
