Mar 17, 2009 (newstodate): The planned privatisation of the Czech Republic's Prague Ruzyne Airport is continuing, but at a slow pace.
The ruling majority has just rejected an attempt by the country's political oposition to stop the privatisation of the airport, aiming at a lease arrangement instead.
So the process is continuing, but the govenment is not expected to bring the issue to its agenda until September when the final details and conditions are to be discussed and decided upon.
The political decision to privatise the airport was made in June, 2008.
