Mar 02, 2009 (newstodate): Slovenian carrier Adria Airways has been forced to cut back on its route network due to the low demand during the current world economic crisis.
The carrier's planned flights from Ljubljana to new destination Sofia, Bulgaria, due to be launched from March 30, 2009, have been suspended, and flights to Oslo, Norway have already been stopped.
The planned launch of a new route from Ljubljana to Madrid, Spain, from March 30, 2009, is however still in the plans, sources say.
