Mar 20, 2009 (newstodate): Finnair has announced plans to increase frequency on its services between Helsinki and Tokyo, Japan, during the summer period .
The carrier will add three weekly rotations on the route on top of its currently four weekly flights during July-September, 2009, thus offering daily connections.
The increased frequency will especially serve visitors from Japan to the Nordic countries during the peak season.
All flights are operated with Finnair's Airbus A340 aircraft.
Earlier this month Finnair announced a similar summer season increase on its flights between Helsinki and New York, bringing Finnair's North American traffic to ten weekly flights during the peak travel period, June to September, 2009,
