Mar 04, 2009 (newstodate): Yakutia Airlines, based at Yakutsk, Russia, has now taken delivery of its third Boeing 757-200 aircraft.
The carrier has signed a lease agreement for a total of four Boeing 757-200 aircraft, with the fourth unit to be delivered later in March, 2009.
The first two aircraft joined the fleet of Yakutia Airlines in 2007, and the aircraft are now in service on the carrier's domestic network as well as on flights to China and charter operations into EU countries.
The Boeing 757-200 aircraft are so far the only western-built aircraft operated by Yakutia airlines.
