Feb 12, 2009 (newstodate): Sweden's Swedavia, a subsidiary of the LFV group, has signed a contract with Aerothai in Thailand to support the development of Thailand's ATM system.
Comprised by the contract is the specification of a new air traffic management system for the control centre in Bangkok, and the formulation of an operative concept for air traffic management in Thailand.
The new ATM system is planned for implementation by 2012, and the contract with Aerothai will run for one year, with provision for further extension.
