Feb 24, 2009 (newstodate): The SAS Group has confirmed that discussions regarding a possible take over of its ground handling air SGS Finland are currently ongoing with the service provider ISS.
As part of the cost-cuytting program Core SAS, the group will divst itself of a range of non-core business, including SAS Ground Services.
A LoI concerning the general commercial terms of a transfer has been signed between the SAS Group and ISS, and after due diligence the two parties expect a deal to be concluded by early May, 2009.
