Feb 24, 2009 (newstodate): A tender for modernisation and management of Russia's Nizhny Novgorod Strigino Airport will be opened during the first half of 2009.
The tender documents will be published within some three months, detailing projects and conditions.
In the project will be construction of a new passenger terminal, a new cargo terminal and airport infrastructure.
The airport was originally to be reconstructed by Moscow city, but this decision was revoked by the Moscow city government in November 2008, leaving the airport to find new investors and partners.
