Feb 9, 2009 (newstodate): Russia will proceed with the implementation of its planned airport infrastructure modernisation program despite the current financial and economic crisis.
According to the plans formulated by the state agency Rosaviatsii, the Russian state will invest some 30 bio Russian Rubles in the program to modernise airports in 2009.
The current program runs till 2015 and comprises infrastucture projects at a total of 131 airports
