Feb 20, 2009 (newstodate): Plans for a new airfreight and logistics centre around Serbia's Nis Constantine the Great Airport have run into delays.
Behind the plans is Austria's Eymaxx Management GmbH that will invest heavily in the project, with construction slated to start this spring.
The project, however, requires ownership of the land around the airport to be passed to the airport from the Nis city government that is the owner today.
Despite state efforts to promote the process, red tape has delayed the legal process to pass the ownership, and the project will probably not be launched by April that was otherwise stipulated.
