Feb 23, 2009 (newstodate): Portugal's carrier TAP is heading for new flights to Eastern Europe and Northern Europe.
Taking effect from June, the airline plans for new flights from Lisboa to Moscow, Russia, Warsaw, Poland, and Helsinki, Finland.
TAP is currently starting to take delivery of a total of six Airbus A320-214 aircraft.
Four of these new aircraft will replace the Airbus A320-211 currently in service and manufactured as far back as 1991, while two others are designed to enable the new flights.
