Feb 23, 2004 (newstodate): Kazakhstan's Air Astana saw its fleet of aircraft growing in 2008, and continues it fleet expansion.
The Air Astana fleet grew to 21 aircraft during 2008 following the delivery of three additional Airbus A320 family aircraft.
The airline confirmed orders for six more A320 family aircraft, with the fleet on track to grow to 34 aircraft in 2014 and 63 by 2022.
In service with Air Astana now are two Boeing 767, four Boeing 757, two Airbus A321, seven A320, one A319 and five Fokker 50 aircraft.
