Feb 13, 2009 (newstodate): Latvia will soon have the first Dangerous Good training institute in the Baltic region.
Behind the initiative is Inga Brasla, Spedair managing director, who has established an own company, BE SMART, launching the region's first training session at the beginning of April, 2009, in Riga.
-There is no school of this kind in Latvia, and I expect my new company to develop into a training center for air cargo community in the entire Baltic region within the next few years, says Ms Brasla.
-In summer 2008 I finished my course at IATA in Geneva and was certified as DGR Instructor. I have applied to receive IATA Diploma in Air Cargo hopefully in 2010 after three more exams at IATA in Geneva.
