Feb 25, 2009 (newstodate): Finnair will take delivery of its first five Airbus A330 aircraft in 2009, with a further three to follow in 2010.
In 2007 the carrier changed some of its orders for A340 aircraft into A330 aircraft, ordering a batch of six units and later exercising two of a total of four options.
The last of the carrier's MD-11 aircraft will be phased out by spring, 2010, and in 2014 Finnair is slated to receive its first Airbus A350 aircraft.
