Feb 19, 2009 (newstodate): Emirates, by far the largest customer for the Airbus A380 aircraft with a total of 58 units ordered, is building up its route network served by the new Jumbos.
The carrier currently operates four A380 aircraft, but seven more will be delivered before the end of March, 2010, and next new A380 destinations to come will be Seoul, South Korea, from November, 2009, and Singapore from December, 2009.
Earlier this month, Emirates launched A380 flights to Sydney and Auckland, after the start of A380 services to London Heathrow in December, 2008, while the carrier inaugurated its first A380 route in August, 2008, between Dubai and New York.
