Feb 23, 2009 (newstodate): Following an intenational tender, the Danish IT provider Prolog Development Center has been contracted to implement a new resource management system at Ukraine's Borispol International Airport.
The new system will enable Ukraine's largest airport to effectively plan, manage and operate the airport facilities as well as their staff and mobile equipment.
The system includes general capacity planning, workforce management for about 1.000 persons, equipment planning and job dispatch for about 150 flights a day.
The contract also includes a stand and gate planning system as well as a slot management system.
The new system will be implemented during 2009 in cooperation with the Ukrainian company TECON Ltd.
