Feb 10, 2009 (newstodate): Bosnian carrier BH Airlines has now confirmed its plans, aired last year, for opening flights to Scandinavia.
The carrier will launch flights on a new route from Sarajevo to Copenhagen from April with Boeing 737 aircraft, aiming at serving both the large etcnic communities in Scandinavia and the tourist market.
In December, 2008, the Bosnian state put 49 percent of the stake in BH Airlines up for sale in a tender won by Turkish Airlines that will now invest in the airline, including acquisition of new aircraft to allow for a significant expansion of the route network.
