Dec 18, 23009 (newstodate): Serbia is increasingly attracting European air traffic connections.
From January 2010, Austrian Airlines will increase frequency on the route between Vienna and Belgrade to three daily rotations, on top of its code-share agreement with JAT that operates two daily flights on the route.
On top of that, the Austrian low-cost operator Niki will launch services between the two countries from next spring.
Pending final government accepts, plans are reportedly to introduce daily low-cost flights between Vienna and Belgrade from early February 2010, using Airbus A320 or Embraer 190 aircraft on the route.
