Dec 10, 2010 (newstodate): Plans for the redevelopment of Russia's Arkhangelsk Talagi Airport have been shelved.
The airport's 2,500m runway is in dire needs for repair, and these works were scheduled to take place in 2010, based on provision of Russian state investments.
Though slated for 2010, the state grant has been abruptly canceled, and no new date has been set, sources say.
Arkhangelsk Talagi Airport is the base of the Russian carrier Nordavia, formerly Aeroflot-Nord.
