Dec 09, 2009 (newstodate): Romania's Bucharest Henri Coanda International Airport plans to complete construction of a new passenger terminal by the end of 2010.
With 15 boarding gates, the new terminal will increase the annual capacity to six million passengers against today's 4.5 mio, and jetbridges will allow capacity to increase from 1,100 passengers to 2,150 per hour.
The airport expects to land around 4.5 mio passengers in 2009, against five mio in 2008.
