Dec 03, 2009 (newstodate): The Franco/Russian agreement on Air France Airbus A380 flights over Siberia has opened the lid for more cargo operations as well.
As part of the agreement, more capacity will be allowed for cargo operations between French and Russian airport, and the deal also stipulates special allowances for Russian carriers to increase traffic, sources say.
Air France has been keen to secure overflight rights over Siberia for its planned Airbus A380 service between Paris and Tokyo.
