Dec 21, 2009 (newstodate): Lithuania's Vilnius Airport is today seeing the launch of two new routes by the Latvian carrier airBaltic.
airBaltic is opening flights to Munich and Berlin, with four weekly flights to Munich and three weekly flights to Berlin, both operated with Boeing 737-500 aircraft.
The new routes follow immediately after the launch on December 18, 2009, by airBaltic of three weekly flights from Vilnius to Paris, also using Boeing 737-500 aircraft.
Next to come, shortly after the turn of the year, is the restoration of airBaltic flights from Vilnius to Amsterdam and Rome.
