Dec 10, 2009 (newstodate): Setting up a new logistics center at Vejle, Denmark, by the end of 2010, Geodis Wilson aims at focusing its efforts in several important segments.
-Moving staff from current offices in Billund, Aarhus and Odense to the center now starting construction work in Vejle, we will build up a competence center for air and sea freight transportation, says Allan Geert Nielsen, Geodis Wilson Denmark managing director.
-The new center will take responsibility for coordination of our express freight, relief logistics, industrial projects, and furniture transportation, as well as housing our aircraft charter operations that is one of our most important niches.
-The new center will benefit from the region's excellent infrastructure comprising ease access to harbors, Billund Airport as well as the highway system connecting to the European mainland, says Mr Nielsen.
