Dec 14, 2009 (newstodate): Emirates has now taken delivery of its sixth Airbus A380, and will add a seventh aircraft before the end of this year.
The carrier is currently offering Airbus A380 services from Dubai to Sydney, Auckland, Bangkok, Toronto, London Heathrow and Seoul, and will also open A380 services to Paris from December 29, as well as to to Tokyo and Amsterdam in 2010.
Emirates performed its first A380 commercial operation on August 1, 2008, and has placed orders with Airbus for delivery of a total of 58 Airbus A380 aircraft.
The carrier will take delivery of a further four A380 aircraft in 2010.
