Dec 08, 2009 (newstodate): Geodis Wilson is relocating its services in Denmark's western regions to a new site in 2010.
The freight forwarder will concentrate its regional focus at Vejle's Transport Center, moving from existing offices in Billund Airport, Aarhus and Odense to a new facility to become operational in December, 2010, after a one-year construction period that has now been launched.
-With the increasing reliance on electronic communications, the exact physical location of services is no longer crucial, and we will gain in working conditions for staff as well as scale of economics by establishing ourselves in one new facility rather than being spread around in smaller units, says Allan Gert Nielsen, Geodis Wilson Denmark managing director.
Geodis Wilson Denmark will retain its office at Aalborg, in Denmark's northernmost region, as well as its Danish head office near Copenhagen.
