Dec 09, 2009 (newstodate): Effective from January 1, 2010, the Czech carrier CSA plans to merge all of its handling activities into an independent company, CSA Support.
CSA Support will have some 800 staff, now in CSA, and the new company will be financially independent from the mother company after an assesment of its value prior to the merger and separation.
Among the customers of Czech Airlines handling are CSA's SkyTeam Alliance including Air France-KLM, Delta Air Lines, Aeroflot, Korean Air as well as other carriers including CAI, Lufthansa, Swiss International Air Lines, Austrian Airlines, SAS, Malev, Finnair, Aerosvit, China Airlines Cargo and Luxair.
