Dec 02, 2009 (newstodate): Denmark's Billund Airport experienced a further dip in total air cargo volumes in November, 2009.
In November, volumes fell 10.2 percent behind last year's level, to 4,190 tonnes, including 1,803 tonnes of exports, down 24.1 percent.
November's import volumes, however grew by 4.4 percent, to 2,387 tonnes.
For the first eleven months the airport has thus reported a total of 41,799 tonnes of cargo, a decline by 20.5 percent, y-o-y.
During the year, imports have dropped by 15.3 percent, y-o-y, to 19,999 tonnes, and exports have been down by 24.7 percent to 21,800 tonnes.
