Dec 09, 2009 (newstodate): The negative pressure in 2009 on airfreight volumes at Lithuania's Vilnius Airport eased somewhat in November.
In November the airport handled a total of 420 tonnes of cargo and mail, a decline by 6.9 percent, y-o-y.
That was, however, an improvement on the preceding months where volumes were down 15.7 percent in October, 22.8 percent in September and 25.4 percent in August.
For the first 11 months of this year, the airport's total volumes stand at 3,858 tonnes - a decline by 25.5 percent compared to same period in 2008.
