Dec 21m 20909 (newstodate): The Chinese wall has now been lowered to allow for Airbus A380 operations in the country.
The large aircraft has been awarded a validation type certificate by the Civil Aviation Administration of China, allowing for the mega-aircraft's access to the Chinese market.
So far only one Chinese carrier, China Southern Airlines has placed orders for the A380, of which the airline will receive the first of five aircraft by 2011, according to the current delivery scheme.
