Nov 26, 2009 (newstodate): Uzbekistan's Universal Mobility Solutions, owner of Samarkand Airways, is close to signing an MoU with the Kyrgyzstan's Civil Aviation Department concerning perspectives and development of regional and domestic markets of air transportation services.
Under the MoU, UMS will prepare the perspective development model of the Civil Aviation of the Kyrgyz Republic for the period up to 2020, including introduction and implementation of ICAO standards in compliance with the requirements of aviation legislation, and a new structure of the Civil Aviation Management.
Other fields of cooperation between the parties will be development of business models of air companies, attraction of the investments into the transportation segment of the Kyrgyz Republic, marketing research of regional and domestic markets of air transportation services, as well initial and recurrent training of staff.
