Nov 06. 2009 (newstodate): Tajikistan's Tajik Air has taken delivery of two Boeing 737-500 aircraft.
The aircraft are operated on a lease agreement with Lithuania's Avia Asset Management, part of the Avia Solutions Group that will also place one Boeing 757-200 aircraft on a contract with the Tajik carrier by the end of this year.
Tajik Air will then operate a fleet comprising two Boeing 737-200, two Boeing 737-500, two Boeing 757-200 and one Boeing 737-800, all on lease contracts.
