Nov 17, 2009 (newstodate): After yesterday's ruling by the Swedish environmental court, Sweden's Jonkoping Airport is seeing its future potentials as a cargo airport secured.
-The court has basically confirmed our stand on this issue, allowing us to increase from currently 500 to a total of 7,500 annual night movements, which is crucial to our aspirations to further bolster our position as a leading freighter airport, says Herman Larsson, Jonkoping Airport marketing manager.
-The increase of the volume of night operations requires us to implement a series of noise abatement precautions, and we will now analyze the details and the costs involved. But over all, we are very satisfied with the ruling, says Mr Larsson.
