Nov 20, 2009 (newstodate): The Russian provider UZGA, Urals Civil Aviation Works has announced plans for setting up a series of rotary and fixed-wing aircraft and engine maintenance centers in different parts of the world.
In the plan is the localization of about 10 centers in Afghanistan, Africa, China, South America and India.
The first centers will reportedly be opened already in 2011, but the venture hinges on attraction of foreign investors to support the expansion.
UZGA is based in Yekaterinburg.
