Nov 17, 2009 (newstodate): The Russian state will support the redevelopment of a large number of smaller airports in its Far Eastern region.
First to be included in the program are some 30 airports in the Yakutia Republic, and in 2010 airports in Kamchatka and Chukotka will be included as well.
The investment in the airport infrastructure of the Far Eastern region of Russia will be supported by state funds.
