Nov 19, 2009 (newstodate): The Norwegian low-cost carrier Norwegian has announced its decision to dig deeper into the Danish air transport market.
Soon after the start of 2010, Norwegian will launch flights on three Danish domestic routes from Copenhagen to Billund, Karup and Bornholm, as well as seven new international routes from Billund and Copenhagen.
The international routes will serve leisure destinations including Tenerife, Athens, Ibizia og Kos.
The new routes also mark the first entrance of Norwegian at Danish airport outside Copenhagen, and the domestic flights will be in direct competition with Cimber Sterling.
