Nov 30, 2009 (newstodate): Russia's AirBridge Cargo, part of the Volga-Dnepr Group, has taken delivery of its third new large Boeing freighter.
The new aircraft is a Boeing 747-400ERF joining the fleet already comprising two similar aircraft plus one Boeing 747-300F and two Boeing 474-200F aircraft.
The carrier has also placed orders for five Boeing 747-8 Freighters, with option for a further five aircraft.
During the first 10 months of 2009 AirBridge Cargo has lifted a total of 134,845 tonnes of cargo - an increase by 14 percent, y-o-y.
