Nov 12, 2009 (newstodate): The Lithuanian aviation business group Avia Solutions Group has taken delivery of the first of four Boeing 737-300 to be acquired this year.
The ex-British Airways aircraft is now undergoing cabin reconfiguration by the Lithuanian company FL Technics and had been purchased from a European aircraft leasing company, and negotiations for the lease of the acquired aircraft are now being held with several foreign airlines.
Through its leasing company, Avia Asset Management, the Avia Solutions Group currently owns 13 aircraft placed on contracts with Kazakh, Tajik, Estonian, Lithuanian, and Italian airline companies.
Before the end of this year, Avia Solutions Group plans to increase its fleet to 20-23 aircraft.
