Nov 03, 2009 (newstodate): Iraqi Airways is mulling plans for flights to a second destination in Sweden.
The Iraqi carrier launched flights from Baghdad to Stockholm in March, 2009, operating a leased Seagle Air Boeing 737-300 aircraft on the route from Baghdad via Athens to Stockholm.
Plans are now in the pipeline for adding a second route from Baghdad to Malmoe, in southern Sweden, with flights to be started "soon".
