Nov 04, 2009 (newstodate): The German Dresden Airport is a recurrent customer of Scandinavian snow-clearing and de-icing equipment.
In preparation for the coming winter season, the airport operates six large snow-clearing vehicle from the Norwegian provider Overaasen, and an order has been placed for a 7th RSC 400 H unit, to be delivered in 2011.
At Dresden Airport, the handling company PortGround is responsible for aircraft de-icing and the company has now taken delivery of a new Elephant de-icing vehicle, produced by the Danish provider Vestergaard.
