Nov 20, 2009 (newstodate): Four regional carriers will compete in landing the contract for domestic air services in Estonia.
The contract for scheduled flights between Estonia's capital Tallinn and Kardla, on the Baltic Sea island of Hiiuuma expires by the end of this months, and the service is put on a tender by the Estonian ministry of transportation.
In the race are the current operator of the flights, Estonia's Avies as well as the Polish carrier Jet Air, the Finnish carrier Wingo and the German carrier OLT, Ostfriesische Lufttransport.
