Nov 02, 2009 (newstodate): The world's fourth and Europe's first carrier to introduce the Airbus A380 aircraft, Air France is set to optimize passenger throughput by the Superjumbo.
Air France has configured its A380 aircraft to accommodate a total of 538 passengers, compared to 450 on Airbus A380 aircraft operated by Qantas, 471 on Singapore Airlines, and 489 on Singapore Airlines.
Air France is now readying to launch A380 services between Paris and New York, with Jo'burg to become the carrier's second A380 destination from February 3, 2010.
