Oct 15, 2009 (newstodate): Turkey's LCC Pegasus Airlines and Kyrgyzstan's Kyrgyzstan Airlines have signed an agreement to set up a JV to launch a new airline.
Pegasus Airlines is to hold 49 percent of the stake in the new carrier, to be named Kyrgyz Pegasus Airlines.
Kyrgyz Pegasus Airlines will launch flights from November 2009 on routes from Bishkek to destinations including Istanbul, Dubai, Seoul, Astana and Moscow, using five aircraft from the Turkish carrier.
In addition to the planned international services, Pegasus will also allocate two aircraft to be used on Kyrgyz domestic routes.
