Oct 27, 2009 (newstodate): First operator to receive the new Russian Superjet 100 aircraft, Armavia will have to muster yet a bit more patience around delivery of the aircraft.
Originally slated to be delivered by the end of 2009, the aircraft hand-over was first postponed till January 2010, and the latest delivery date has now been set for April, 2010.
Armavia will receive two Superjet 100 aircraft, and the new delay is caused by snags in the certification process, sources say.
