Oct 26, 2009 (newstodate): The first western operator to offer the new Russian Superjet 100 on its routes will be ItAli Airlines in 2010 already.
The Italian carrier, based at Abruzzo International Airport in Pescara, Italy, has placed orders for a total of 10 Superjet 100 and also holds options for a further 10 units.
ItAli Airlines operates regional scheduled, charter and cargo services, as well as air taxi flights.
From another part of the world, Vietnam Airlines has signed a MoU for delivery of a yet-unspecified number of Superjet 100 aircraft.
