Oct 12, 2009 (newstodate): New on the Russian skies is charter airline I-Fly, based at Moscow Vnukovo Airport.
Owned by the Russian tour operator Tez Tour and charter operator Shar Inc, I-Fly will introduce four ex-KrasAir Boeing 757-200 aircraft on charter flights for Tez Tour, and plans are also to add Boeing 767 aircraft at a later stage.
The aircraft are delivered on a lease arrangement with IFLC, and the
Moscow-based freight carrier Shar Inc will provide crew and ground staff for the airline.
Icelandair Technical Service has been contracted to provide aircraft maintenance under a four-year contract.
