Oct 01, 2009 (newstodate): The new Airbus A330-200F freighter program is on track, with first flight expected by November, 2009.
Certification is expected during spring 2010, with the first delivery to Flyington Freighters that has ordered 12 aircraft to follow during the summer.
So far the A330-200F has fetched 67 firm orders from nine customers.
The A330-200F is a mid-size, long-haul all-cargo aircraft capable of carrying 64 tonnes over 7,400 km, or 69 tonnes up to 5,930 km, and with a versatile loading system accomodating both pallets and ULDs.
